Frequently Asked Questions

Can you come look at it and tell me what’s going on?
Most people who call us aren’t looking for a sales pitch, they just want honest answers and a little peace of mind. That’s why we offer on-site visits that help you understand what’s happening before small issues turn into expensive ones.

Can you fix a problem before it gets worse?
Most of the time, yes, and it’s often the smartest approach. Catching drainage issues, erosion, or failing pond banks early can prevent bigger damage and expensive repairs later. We focus on proactive land and water management to protect your property long-term.

Do you work with difficult or unusual properties?
Yes! That’s where we do some of our best work. Steep slopes, marshy ground, overgrown waterfronts, unstable banks, or properties that seem impossible to access, we’ve seen it all. With the right equipment and experience, difficult land can usually be improved safely and thoughtfully.

What if I’m not sure how serious the problem is yet?
That’s very common. Many drainage, erosion, or pond issues start small and gradually get worse over time. Sometimes it’s something simple, and sometimes it’s a warning sign that needs attention. We can assess the situation, explain what’s happening, and help you decide whether it needs action now or monitoring for later.

Do you offer options based on budget?
Absolutely. We know land improvement projects aren’t one-size-fits-all. Our goal is to give you practical options; from immediate fixes to long-term improvements, so you can choose what makes sense for your property and your budget. We believe in solving problems, not overselling services.

Can you come look at it and tell me what’s going on?
Yes , and honestly, that’s usually where we start. Every property is different, especially here in Georgia where clay soil, drainage patterns, and vegetation can change from one area to the next. We come out, evaluate what’s happening on your land, and explain the problem in plain language so you understand your options. Whether it’s drainage issues, erosion, pond problems, or land clearing needs, we help you figure out the right path forward.

What is a widow maker?
A widow maker is a damaged or unstable tree limb that could fall unexpectedly and they’re more common than people realize after storms.

How do I know if a tree is dangerous?
Dead limbs, leaning trunks, storm damage, or visible decay are signs a tree may be hazardous. We assess risks and recommend safe removal when needed.

Can you create temporary access for construction or equipment?
Absolutely. Temporary roads are often the first step toward larger property improvements.

Can you build roads or driveways on soft or marshy land?
Yes. We use stabilization methods and proper base materials to create safe, lasting access roads.

Why is my pond water stagnant or unhealthy?
Poor circulation, clogged overflow systems, or invasive growth are common causes, all things we regularly fix.

Can you remove pond weeds without hurting fish?
Yes. We focus on environmentally responsible aquatic weed removal that restores balance without damaging the ecosystem.

Why is my pond bank collapsing?
Usually saturation, poor slope design, or vegetation loss. We stabilize banks and reshape shorelines to prevent further erosion.

How do you know where the water is coming from?
We use topographic assessment and practical experience to track water paths and identify root causes, not just symptoms.

Do French drains work in Georgia's red clay soil?
Sometimes, but not always. Many properties need a combination of grading, swales, or other drainage systems to truly solve the problem.

Why is my property always wet?
Georgia clay soil holds water, and poor grading or blocked drainage paths often make it worse. We evaluate water flow and design solutions that actually move water where it needs to go.

How much land can you clear in a day?
It depends on density and terrain, but we work efficiently with the right equipment to reclaim land quickly and safely.

Will land clearing damage my property?
Not when it’s done correctly. Our goal is to improve access and usability while protecting soil health and natural beauty.

How do I know what my property actually needs?
Most landowners don’t know exactly what solution they need and that’s normal. Every property is different, especially here in Georgia and South Carolina (the CSRA) where clay soil, water flow, and vegetation can change from one acre to the next. Our job is to come out, look at what’s happening, and explain your options clearly so you can make the best decision for your land and your budget. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s exactly why we’re here. We will come and give you an estimate or risk assessment, all absolutely free.

Do you come out and evaluate the property first?
Yes. Every piece of land is different, especially in Georgia clay and wetland conditions. We assess the property, identify the problem, and recommend solutions that fit your goals and budget.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes ! Endure Fort Farms is local, licensed, and insured. We take safety and responsible land management seriously.

Do you work on small residential projects or only large properties?
Both. Whether it’s a backyard drainage issue or large acreage restoration, we can help. There is no job too big or too small.

What’s the difference between forestry mulching and land clearing?
Forestry mulching grinds underbrush and small trees into natural mulch that protects the soil, while traditional clearing removes material entirely. We help you choose based on your goals.
